What is Speed Dating?

Speed Dating is a simple concept: Get 10 single men and 10 single women together at a restaurant for short 7-minute conversations. The women sit at one side of small, individual size tables and the men on the other.

A bell rings and conversation ensues for 7 minutes where each person can ask questions, talk about anything they want, and see if there is any chemistry between them. A bell rings after 7 minutes and the men move to the next table.
After a total of 10, 7-minute, “mini-dates” each person marks on their private match card who they would like to see again.
The next day, emails and phone calls are made by the Connections staff to inform the participants of who they had “mutual matches” with. Phone numbers are exchanged and they are free to date!
